Christmas!!!
 Christmas!!!

                                                                                       Christmas!!!

Wow that was some pretty good stuff talking to all of you guys, see all of your faces and even cooler that Brad is engaged!!!
Yeah I will be a little sad when I get out of here but I always like a little change in it all. That is a real bummer that all of the little guys got sick and that Bridg isn't feeling all that good, I hope she gets feeling better soon. Yeah I really do love the families that we have here! They are awesome!! We had a good time in our activity everyone ate good and had a good time I love the Christmas season, but now its over... till the next one.
I got your package! Thank you soo so much I really enjoy getting that, the bread was really good and gone!
Okay so there is another Elder that is going to UVU when he gets home and he said that he is applied and accepted? I don't know all that much about all of it and I know that you will get everything figured out. I need all of the scholarships that I can possibly get!! I am a poor little white boy,  I am a townboy going to the city mom it might rock my world... and I have to buy a car... But that will all come when it comes for now the lords work right!
So this week I am really excited because we will have the baptism of Lily she is the lady with the dream and the miscarriage. The family is so excited and I am so excited, I am planning on going to San Diego in one year to see them get sealed:) We are going to have another chill week because Pres. said that we are not gong to work on Saturday so that is kind of rough on the teaching and finding. We also had to change houses because the sister missionaries did not feel safe in their house so we are going there this week and we will be looking for another new house, but I think I will be leaving after this week so its like, whatever.
Well Mom If youare on write me back right now.
I love you so so much tell Grandma thanks for the letter and also thanks to the Hess's for the letter really nice of them! Love,
 Elder Zundel!
PS I think you can continue sending packages to me

Talking to everyone was so awesome!! All of the little kids have grown so much! that will be really cool to see them. Well I will be praying that you don't get sick, but not so much for your sake but for moms beacuse I know it has to be rough on her. No my comp was not with me either day..The christmas pary was awesome I will get you fotos here shortly actually I will send a lot of fotos so that is why this will be short. Well she might kinda have the hots but she goes home next week so adios! (a sister missionary, ha ha) That is cool that Chris and Shawn came down! Tell them hello for me and that I love them.
I still got a lot left to go, but there will be no slowing down.
 I love you paps.
 Love,
 Elder Zundel!

Old MTC comp

Things are going well here in Mex. There is no snow here either tough luck huh.. Well good thing you could get a good use out of my inheritance,  hope someone enjoys the 20 bucks. That is awesome that Coop won! and that is cool that Payton is moving up that will help him a lot!
For Christmas we will be face timing home! that will be a lot better because the connection is better. Yeah who knows what they were thinking, but now we put the bikes inside the house so I really hope nobody thinks that they need then very bad. Yeah that is really crazy that people are going to be heading home, and soon it will be me! Did you guys get the letters that I sent?

I am Megatron!

So this week I went on interchanges with some missionaries that are out kind of in the middle of nowhere, and I went out there a couple of weeks ago and a missionary and I found a lady that only has one leg, and when we got there she did not use makeup or dress nice let alone do her hair, but I went back to do interchanges again with them and we went to visit the same lady and the fist thing she tells me is I have changed haven't I. Her hair  done, makeup on, and a dress, WOW the Gospel changes lives, really one of my favorite moments as a missionary!
Tell my grandperants thanks a ton, a ton! The Christmas time is a great time of year I love it so much the Mexican people don't go all that hard on Christmas.  I think my favorite scripture right now is Isaias 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlastingFather, The Prince of Peace.the gospel is so true and I love you!!! ahh.
and if you want to send some cookies I dont know that would be cool.
 I love you mom,
 Love,
 Elder Zundel

Yeah I will be sure to be safe about the whole hernia thing, lots of good water okay okay.
So some more cool things happened with our dreamer lady, so I am not sure if I mentioned this in the last email but in her dream she was with her husband her daughter and some other little boy who she did not know who was. Well we go over to her house this week and we are talking with them and she tells us after a while that she is pregnant! whoooah so she started crying again, and she had some problems with the word of wisdom, but ya she has to leave everything behind at forces now! Really cool, I love that family!
So I will be skyping home on Christmas, I am not sure what time yet... Yeah we have a little Christmas tree and we are singing a lot of Christmas songs, I think we are all pretty excited about Christmas! The people recieve us really well being two gringos so that is good, ohhh yeah so Sunday morning we walk into our garage thing and there are no bikes.... so that really sucked so that is why I took out money this morning I had to get a new one of those, oh and they don't have cheep ones in Mexico like you would think they are all like 60 bucks shoot!
Good bye bikes

Yeah send me all of the skype info por favor.
Good to hear that the little guys are doing well in their wrestling, and that the bears will be a tough team this year, I saw a pic of Mckade getting up to throw down a dunk!
So I was thinking  yesterday about all of the memories that I had in sports of playing in big games, and all of the things that I did in high school, and honestly the memories that are my favorite are the times that we spent together. Going and hitting on Sundays, the couple of times we went fishing, I love you Dad.
Love,
Elder Zundel

December 1, 2014

Okay so I had a pretty cool experience this week! I don't know if you remember about a young woman we are teaching named Daniela, her father is less active and her mom is not a member. Well anyway we go to her house on Saturday and it is just her and her mom there so we go in and start talking, asking about their week, then I asked if we could start the lesson with a prayer and the mom was pretty excited to hear the lesson, which was kinda wierd. She has always listened to us but never really wanted to commit to anything, anyway we say the prayer and we ask them how they are doing with their reading and prayers, so after the daughter responds we ask the mom and she says I always do my prayers every day then she starts telling us a story about a dream she had.
And this is how it goes. She was with her family and everywhere she went they were by her side, and they didn't talk but they could communicate through thought, she said that they all felt a peace and happiness that was awesome. Then they went outside in the yard, but she didn't feel scared, then a wind came and hit them and they asked what was that, because it made them feel good, and it happened again, so they asked again what was that, then she said a voice came from the heavens and says do you still doubt? and the way that she described the voice was it was a strong voice but passive something that penetrated to her heart. Then her dream continues and more cool stuff happens, sorry only have an hour to write.. ..but after we open up to 3 Nephi 11,  and as she read verse three when it describes the voice of the Lord in the exact same words that she said the tears rushed down her face, the spirit was so strong, so she accepted a baptismal date for the 27th of December!

And Also Maria de Jesus also had an anwer to her prays in a dream so she is for sure getting baptized, I don't know if you remember that she was having some troubles deciding if she wanted to do if for sure. Other than that the week was pretty normal nothing outo of the norm. For my birthday just some good ol pizza at night of my birthday and for thanksgiving.

 Things are going well.
I love you paps Hope you have a great week in the gym because you will need it!
Love,
Elder Zundel

November 24, 2014

That sound like a good weekend watching some good football! Last Thanksgiving in the mission... what! No we will probably not be eating turkey... and they don't have Swanson here... so pizza will do. I am having a good time, things are going very well right now, I am living in the same house as one of my best buds, that I will probably go to college with. Just got a new comp who is American so that will be cool! and life is good! Right now I am District leader, it just makes me worry, ha, how to help the other missionaries have success and give them enthusiam, but it is a good to learn how to lead a little in the church. The reason that they can't send food is for the boarder, I guess that there can be problems crossing the American products, but if you ever want to send something that has food after Christmas you can send it here to Mexico.
Should be a good weekend with the shopping! my comp right now is good, I will let you know if there is someone that could use something.
So this week was good, we put a baptism date with a family and they seem like they will progress well, and we have a couple of other people with dates right now that are pretty solid, Maria now has a date in a couple of weeks and we are going to baptize a young woman that is really cool, and she can sing like Fergie, pretty cool! I got to go to work.
Love you paps.
 Love,
 your baby boy!!

Wow! Thanksgiving, maybe we will order a pizza to celebrate or something haha. Yeah I know soon I will be talking to you on skype sweet! So the trasfers were today, my comp left and I got another comp named Elder Molano he is from Pennsylvania, he has a little over a year in the mission and I don't know much else about him, he is a big guy.
Okay so I just want you to apply me for UVU and USU those two and that's it. Yes I got your package!! thanks a ton! and I got a package from Wendi and Mckell! Tell them thanks a ton also!! hey I open up the card that you sent me in the package waiting for it to say sometihng, ya know some works of encouragement, love, or advice and on the giant sheet of paper there is nothing.... how sentimental my parents are haha. (mom is going to send a nice encouraging note!)
I like to hear how the little guys are doing and great to hear they are doing well.
I know this work is the work of God and that His Son leads and guides us.
I love you mother .
Love,
 your favorite kid!!

The Zone

Dang, that is really sad news.... (Tracy Hoskins accident) Yeah not much of bad weather, but I did have to put on a sweater this morning to go out side cause it was a little chilly. That is awesome that you could reactivate someone that sometimes is harder than having a baptism!
Haha that is pretty funny that River got called to the same mish really cool actually!
I love the little Redd boys,  I love all of my nephews and nieces!
Yeah the Patriarch and Stake Pres. talked in our ward this last week and it was really good! they talked about blessings of coarse.
We had a wonderful week, three more children of God walked into the waters of baptism this week I will try to get some pics over to ya.

The Lord is blessing us mucho! this will be the last week of this transfer so next week I will be with a new comp. That is crazy that some of the buds are going home!!
Yeah I got some buds taht are thinking about UVU and I think it would be a good idea, I would love if you could apply me to UVU and To USU... but the dead line is coming up soon.. like December something.

another thing,  I need picturs of Grandpa Z and Pete and one of grandma Pete and the rest of the 4 gereracions also. It can be a pic from whatever age they don't have to be old.
Thanks!
 Love you mommy!

Hey paps, things are going well this fine day! Yeah really chill up there in the north. I get to write some buds in the time we have to write so that is really nice. Like Corn, Riley, and others. Oh I am pretty excited to eat some good ol' roast beast.
That would be really nice to have a ward mission leader that new how to work well,  ours is an awesome guy and is willing to do anything that we ask but he does not know how to work on his own, so that is kind of rough, seems like that is how the whole ward is they are willing to work but don't know how.  Look up on the internet a trip to hawaii about the obra misional,  I think it would be a good idea.
I have heard a little bit about the problames that are going on right now but most of that is down south, and things are really calm where we are at.
So today was full of stuff to do cut the hair, buy food, eat, and clean seems like we don't do much else on Pdays. But this week went very well Like I told mom we had three baptisms so that was for sure the highlight of the week, and we will have a nother one this week so thats pretty cool! This week we went by this family Saturday night to teach them the first two priciples of lesson 2 and the sabbath day so I got done teaching about the sabbath and the lady just says yeah! so wheres the church at? Ha it was pretty cool,  even cooler that she was there on Sunday! We are going to have a family home evening with a family today so that should be some good stuff we will be invinting them to baptisms! really everything is going well, we will have to see where I write you from next week, I think I will stay here, my comp has 6 months in this area so he is bound to go.
Thanks for all of your support.
 I love you!
Love,
 Elder Zundel

November 10, 2014

First things first paps, we will be seeing who will be schooling who when I walk through the front door. And sounds like you guys have a bunch of plans for these next couple of weeks! Tell you what I love hearing that all of my brothers and sisters are doing well, I have really been focusing on them in my prayers lately I hope as well that they continue to do well and have success. Yeah Grandps sent me an email about the bathroom and all that should be really good for them,  I really want to spend more time with them when I get home. Nope I haven't heard anything about the mormonm movie here. hopefully it will  have a good impact!
Okay so this week was a pretty good week we started out a little rough with a lot of flat tires and fallen appointments, but all of that made a change later. My favorite Elder in the mish came to live in the same house as me on Tuesday night and now we are living in the same house!! Elder Watts I have talked about him before. and it is really nice having a really good bud to be with! Then we found some good people to teach, some lady is pretty stoked to get baptized the 18 of December because it is her birthday! ha and we are going to baptize a young woman and a young man this week and their interview for the baptism went very well. The Elder that did the interview lasted like 10 minutes and comes out and says YUP! theyre ready! So that is really cool. They are ALan and His sister Alexandra. My camera is getting cleaned right now so I don't have pics to send home but next week I will get some to you no worries.
All is well here we have 2 weeks left in the transfer and I would imagine that I will stay here for the next transfer, but who knows the Pres is pretty crazy about the transfers.
I love you Dad I pray for you and mom every day I am so lucky to have you as parents, God loves me!
 Love,
Elder Zundel

Hey mom just thought I would tell you that I love you!
Sounds like an AWESOME Thanksgiving!! (2015) Will we be able to go boating?? I will let you know about the packages when I get them. Hey just a heads up I sent you a message about packages and after the new year you can't send any type of thing that you consume... check the email good and it has more info.
I saw Elder Graff the other week when I went to Tijuana for a leader meeting he seems like he will be a really good elder just a little guy though.. Hey I am also thinking about going to UVU to school.. who knew?? Don't have a lot of time this week we moved houses and our new house is HUGEEEEEE and super nice.
I love you very very much!!
Love ELder Zundel

November 3, 2014

Well something that I have learned from the Mexican people is that you have to use every opportunity you have to have a fiesta!
I would Imagine that all of the little guys are really cute, and real grown up! They will be a lot different by the time I get back! I am excited to get these little gifts from the little guys. How many contacts did you send me, hope just for 6 months cause I think that is all I will need. Thanks for sending the school stuff that will be nice to look over. Yeah it is really cooling down here in these last 3 days, still pretty warm during the day but cool at night.
I had to go to Tijuana for a meeting and for visa stuff. Life is on the free way just a cruzin along!
Really President Thurgood hit it on the nail, we have to have the spirit with us to protect us from the Physical and Spiritual dangers of the world and to help us spread the light that we have.
Love you mother!!!
Love,
 Elder Zundel

Jay bird, Well there isn't much to see here in San Luis Rio Colorado, El rio pues no tiene agua.(for sight seeing) I will see if I can get someone to take us to the dunes, well I think there are some dunes here close. That does make me feel good that people care about me!
My comp Elder Canche is a many of few dreams, well just not sure of what he wants to study when he gets back home. He does have plans to further his education and to have a nice job and all of that good stuff. I believe he comes from a family that is not rich nor poor just normal. I would imagine that he will like in Campeche for all of is life he seems to like it a lot!
Yeah thats alright when you want to put stuff on facebook have at it! That is cool that you guys got some good seats at the Jazz game some pretty cool stuff! I really do love Monday as well I love hearing from you, Hey I would Imagine that you took some pitures during halloween, send them my way!
Well this week I was out of my sector for 3 and a half days... that is a lot of time out of your area. I went to Tijuana until Tuesday night, then I went and did enterchanges with a place called Ciudad Morelos, so that was kind of rough not having a lot of time in my area. But we are right back in it. We have a lot to do this week, really we have to focus on finding new people to teach so that we can baptize every week!

October 27, 2014

Mother I love you so! I am going to write a long letter to dad because I don't have much time at all this week to write I had to come to Tijuana and I will need to use my credit card to get back to San luis tomorrow just a heads up. like 25 dollars. I got the package from Lisa Tell her so much thanks and that I love her!!!!!
I love you mom.
 Love,
 Elder Zundel

Well Father things are going great here! and sounds like things are going very well back home. Get me a picture of Jason's deer!! Sounds like an awesome idea for missionary work in the ward.
Okay so I commented a little bit about the family that we baptized last week (i forgot my camera so I will sent pictures next week) but I love them! They are so loving and they love us! It was awesome to be able to baptize them! Now we have to keep them active. So that was the highlight of the week.
Here are a couple of pics from our baptism from last last week! Familia Guevara

We had a pretty crazy experience too. So we went Saturday morning to visit Maria de la Luz she is a lady we are teaching and will get baptized here soon. She wasn't home... but we heard someone greeting in the house in front of her. Turns out there was a really old lady like 150 or so with her daughter, who was handicapped, in there house and the old lady was yelling to have her move something. So we yelled in there and got her attention and she yells back "Tell the lady in front to make us some food we haven't eaten in 2 days". So we explained that the lady, Maria, wasnt there. So she says "Oh what am I going to do"... So Elder Canche and I jumped her fence and walked in her house and yelling in her ear, because after 120 people don't hear, asked her if she wanted that we make her food. She agreed so we went back in her kitchen and made up some eggs and wienies and some oatmeal. haha a pretty crazy experience.
Alejandra and her brother Alan are progressing really well both of them will be baptized in November!! Things are going well here, um I think that I could use some nutty butters. My shoes are doing alright right now because we are on bikes so we hardly walk. I had to go to Tijuana last night, and I will be heading back to San Luis tomorrow so I will have to buy the ticket to get back for about 25 $ I love you paps Love Elder Zundel!!!
(Oh I could use some Garment bottoms too like two.)

October 20, 2014

I bet you guys had a good ol' time in St George! haha you out smarted them, all they wanted to do was use the Ipad, who got outsmarted?
JC drew out for a good area hopefuly he can get a nice buck, yeah it does sound like fun. My comp was telling me that where he lives for fun they go out with their bows and hunt for a deer and after they shoot it they have to track it down and the one who finds if wins. Pretty cool!  Wow KC not taking a loss in the post season pretty amazing!!! Good for Utah hopefully they keep it up and get a good bowl game. Yeah without Mitton it will be tough for the bears to do anything in the post season. Oh that is really neat about Uncle Roy, only if I could remember who he was.....? Wow that would be pretty crazy if they sent Dallin out there. Yeah I have heard a little bit about the Ebola but not all that much. that is some scary stuff.
My health is doing very well I feel a lot better, I got my comp to run a little with me so that is good too.
Well to just be frank. This week I have been the happiest I have ever been in my life! I am just happy. We are working hard, and I feel good about what we are doing and what we have done, and I feel like God also is pleased with what we have done, and it makes me feel wonderful. I love the gospel, I love living it. I love seeing other people recieving joy from the gospel, and helping them recognize where it comes from. Really that is all I have to say, I am happy. I love you paps, I pray for you daily.
 Love,
 Elder Zundel

So I´ll just sit right here and drink another beer in Mexico.. oh how did Kenney get on my email? Everything is good mother, I feel really good no problems with the health as far as I can see. The IV and all that seemed to have done its job.
The ward is making a lot of changes, we are working hard to help with the cause. The attendance is going up every week so that is awesome!!! The family that we are teaching, is going very well. So the daughter has gone to the church about 4 times and she is loving it, but we have been having some troubles with the two sons, Alan(16) y Andi(19), . But this Saturday we went by to teach them the Gospel of Christ, and we talked about how it blesses our lives. At the end I really stressed the importance of attending the church and Alan promised to go on Sunday, and HE WENT. At the end of church he came up to me and says I sure am glad that you guys invited me here. He ate it up! Now we just have to work with Andi. We are hoping to have some more progress with Marisol, but she feels a little bit of pressure so we have to back off a little bit. Oh we are going to baptize two ladies this Thursday they are pretty awesome, really funny. I feel like I am in home when we go to there house they are jsut so loving! Their names are Alma y Magdalena I will get you a foto of them this next week.
Good to hear that you had a good time on the trip, yeah you better get a good house for the next year!!! And a pool so I can show off my missionary tan lines! I love the gospel and I love you too mom!
Love,
 Elder Zundel

October 13, 2014

Wonderful time of year. Here it is pretty warm not as hot as the other weeks so I am thankful for that! Yeah Jennie told me that McKade Mitton dislocaded his shoulder, that Dr. Bitner says that he will be out for the season, but who knows. Were you guys able to see the new movie?? There are tons of people here that have really messed up ideas about our religion, and it makes it difficult for them to even listen to us. Hopefully the movie will be able to make a difference! Well for the next UEA EVERYBODY will be going well at least I.
I am feeling a little bit better. Yesterday I did not feel good at all. I went to a members house who is a nurse and they took my tempuature and it was a t 103 so they injected me with some stuff and got all of that taken under control.

I told you about a less active woman who came back to church after 20 years about 2 weeks ago. Well we are teaching her kids now, her daughter is bound for a baptism here really soon, but her two sons are a little bit slower in the process, but we will keep on working with them.
We have one investigator whose name is Marisol, she is 24 divorced with one boy of 3 years. She is Awsome! We went and taught her the other day about the word of wisdom, and so we started with how we should be obedient to the commandments that God gives us, and I asked her why do you think that God gives us commandments? And she says swinging her fist To Obey Them! She will be another baptism we will have here coimg up soon. But the other day while we were teaching her, her son came home from being with his dad. He was Screaming and Crying Papi Papi, histaricaly and just bawling because he did not want to leave his dad, really sad. Then Marisol with tears rolling down her face says I give him everything, all I have goes to him. His father does not give or do anything for him. Really sad moment, But she keeps a good attitude about it.
I really liked what President told us this week in our Zone Conference. He talked a little about Templanza-Temperance, well paps you probably know a little, I mean a little bit about this. How when someone is making a sword they pound it with a hammer until it gets really hot then put it in cold water, and by doing this the molicules are moved around and the steel becomes harder and harder with every round. I feel as though I have been tempered very many times in the mission. Time after time we get thrown in the water, but I know how much stronger I am for it! My testimony has grown incredibly. And I know that it doesnt matter what fight I come up against, my sword will not bend nor break. I love you Paps!

October 6, 2014

The stomache issues are not as bad as they were, I will continue to work on that. How bout that! new truck, and why did you not send me a picture or two of it??? Does that mean that the Ranger is mine? Well I hope it pays back in return like the Ranger did.
Bout time Bears! Jennie Mitton told me that Mckade leads the state in tackles, thats pretty cool! The Utah teams are playing really well sounds like, bad news for Taysom... I think that I will be home in early August, President likes a good plan for his return missionaries so if I know what I am going to do he will be up for it. Tell mom to keep up the good work! I would imagine that you need to work a little harder on your athletic appearance, cut back on the milkshakes and kick up the sit ups! I am doing alright in my journal writings, not the best but alright.
I feel like the time is going by a little to fast, like there is so much to do and not much time to do it. So I guess that means that there is just to work harder. Transfers are coming up next Monday and I am excited for that! I am ready for a next comp... The other day while we were off on the tour of france my comp tells me, ya know you don't have to go so fast.. Laziness has grown to be one of my biggest pet peves. But I am working very hard with my patience so I don't get mad, and I am doing pretty well. The other day I told off one of the guys in the house for something they were doing, and he talked back and I was about to loose it on him, so I left the room got to my bed and knelt down. the peace that the Lord gave to me filled me and we were able to work without contention for the rest of the day. My testimony grown every day, today while studing I read in Mosiah:23 (https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/23?lang=eng),  I think it was, and it talks about how God sent trials to the people of Alma to test their faith and patience, and I feel the Lord is doing the same with me very often in the mission.
I will continue to work hard, and finish strong, and I will work really hard on not getting fat after chistmas... Love you paps!

Well we ran for one day, then my lazy comp wasn't up for it... bugs me.. Things are going better with the digestive system, not at 100% but alright. Oh Yes Conference was AMAZING!!! we watched it in the church. I wish that we could have conference every other week! I hope your families could watch it also.
Well Good for Bradley! I don't remember who it was, but one of the 12 made it pretty clear that we are to get married! I don't remeber any Alexa?? Elder Brown is a good guy! Well that doesn't seem like the worst option to join the Army. I feel like this will make you happy but I am feeling stronger about USU.. SUU is really far away from home.
I only took a years supply of contacts to the mission, and I am running low... my perscription is -3 y -4
things in the ward are going alright, I really like the bishop he lives in our area so we visit him every so often and try to be a help for him. The weather is cooling down a lot, but still hot compared to home.
 I Love you mom, Love,

September 29, 2014

Wow the time is cruisin' for a bruisin', actually the little card thing that says my dates for leaving and going home says that I will be home on the 4 th of August... Finishing strong is the goal hear, can't expect anything less. Wow that is a nice fist day of the hunt! JC, Wade and Corn went up on a hunt Wade drew out for the bull hunt and got a big bull! Hopefully the Bears can come out on top of this one.
Sounds like you are going to have to planch your missionaries a little bit this week so they can get back on buissiness. Sounds like they are on the same transfer mode as us we have transfers in 2 weeks also. Grandmas letter didn't get here, I don't know about shoes right now, because we are on a bike right now and we don't walk so they are not of a need as of now. I have a problem with not being able to go to the bathroom... who knew what it is that I have? I am trying to take care of it the best I can. I started running today,  I decided that I want to run a half marathon when I get back, and that is something I can train for here in the mission.
Well this week was a week full of work, we led the district in lessons, and we are working hard! Trying to find and put dates! So Saturday was a little rough in the morning. We leave the house at 9:45 to get to a lesson at 10 and they aren't there... we follow our plans and all of our appointments fall until 12:30 when my tire goes flat... so we go and repair that and by that time we had to go to the food. Just a really bad morning,  I think we only had one lesson until the food. But then after the food we had a normal day of teaching.  So where I am going with this comes next.  I was thinking really hard the other day in why the disobedient missionaries have success and a lot of the time a lot of success, isnt it supposed to be that the obedient missionaries should recieve all of the references and all of the blessings.  I began to think why, why I didn't get these blessing,  with people that want to hear the gospel and accept it with all they have. You could say that I didn't have a testimony of the obediencia, I had always been obedient because I love the Lord. But then Sunday we get to sacrement meeting, and after a less active sister came up and said that she wants that we teach her kids, who aren't members,  the gospel.  My comp told me she has 20 years being less active and that all of the missionaries have gone to her house to activate her,  but now she has come back.  Like Alma said we do not recieve the blessing, until after the trial of our faith.  I love the gospel I love my Savior.
Miss you paps Love ya too, and I dont stop praying for you.
Love,

September 22, 2014

That would be correct! (on mom being correct on the name of the city he is in) Yeah I feel bad about last week... (on not responding to dad's  email)
Things are not going how I would like them to go right now, the people here are tough, but that doesn't stop us from working.
I did receive your package THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! but still no letter from granny. The time is flying! We were expecting a big rain storm but nothing happened here. I know how you feel about the people you are visiting it is the same in all of the world.
Mom I want to see you do a pull up when I get home! DO IT!
That is awesome about the temple dedication I am hoping so much that I will be here for the dedication for the tempel here in Tijuana.
Hahah the little guys are awesome! (about the grandkids)
Thanks for all that you do for me mom, I love you!
Love,
Elder Zundel

HOLA COMO ESTAS PAPA? Forgive me for the last week I don't know what happened I didn't get your email until today, and we hardly ever go to the internet during the week, and if we do it is to print something off.

Good to hear the the Fiesta was a success, we had our Fiesta this Friday and it was a good time the dances that the youth put on were really cool.

Good to hear that you guys are taking care of the elders, how many are there in the stake, how often to you meet with them? 3,000,000 thats a lot of zeros, yeah you better ask if they have a daughter. (on finding him a wife, and it being a daughter if some rich people whose house is supposed to cast $3,000,000) Yeah sounds like the bears are really struggling right now, something has got to change.
I don't know for sure what I am going to do about college right now, or about playing. Depends on a lot of stuff so who know about that. College has got me a little stressed out, but I know it will all work out for the good.
I did recieve the package that you and mom sent me, but the letter from grandma I did not recieve yet.
THE MUZZ, you love it! Really a good time up there with the whole crew. Hopefully I will have the chance to go every once in a while now that I won't be busy with sports. Oh I am hoping that I will be here for the dedication of the Tijuana Temple it will be done right around the time I leave... Right now I am really missing some cooking at grandmas house... I have some pretty bad bugs in me right now so I will be taking a couple of strong drugs here this week. But don't worry about that.
Things are kinda rough here the people are a lot different from the people in Tijuana not as receptive to the gospel, so that is kind of setting us back right now. Ah and they just called a new bishop in the ward, I think it will be really good for the ward because he seams to be a getter doner.
Okay so I want you to take a look at 2 Nephi 31:3 (https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/31?lang=eng) and pay special atencion to that while watching conference! Speaking of General Conference, I want you to ask everyone if they have invited at least 2 people to listen to the full time missionaries since the last conference. And if they haven't invite them to repent, and to do it! There has to be unity between the missionaries and the members, because like it says in DyC 88:72 (https://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/88?lang=eng) that the Lord will apressurar (don't remember how to say that in English) his work in his own time. and The prophet has said that the time has come.
I love this work, I love Mexico, I love Jesus Christ, and I love you Dad.
Love,

September 15, 2014

My beloved mother! Well this Sunday went a little better! We had three persons in sacrament meeting, and one of them will be baptized this week! so that is a lot better than the past week. We are working hard here contacting all of the people that we pass in the street, well which aren't many cause nobody goes outside in the heat... So today is the independace day of Mexico, so we will have to be in the house at 6:00 and this Friday we have our party with the stake! Jeez mom you have to take follow the example that your mother put for you, go to all of the games! Wow good for Mckell that is a lot to run..(on not making it to all of the grandkids games and McKell's half marathon)
I know that I have to have a really high GPA and get a good score on another test that I have to take, but what I want to know is, well I have heard that some of the best dentist have came out of BYU so I don't know if that would help me get into dental school, or now that Utah has a dental school if going there for all of my normal school will help me get into their dental program.
That is one of our problems here in San Luis, a lot of the people here do not want to accept Joseph Smith as a Prophet... I don't know how you could say no. By their fruits you shall know them. There are 84,000 missionaries in the field, how much more good fruit do you want? We will contunue!
I love you mom, Love,

San Luis Rio Colorado

Well I am here like Lance Armstrong on my bike winning the Tour de France!
my comp and i competing for the Tour de France

It is pretty dang hot here, but you think that stops us? No. Well this week has gone well we are working hard and trying to find new people. Well we did find some new people. but nobody went to church, even after passing by every one of them on saturday... we were pretty depressed. But then one lady stood up to give her testimony and she talked about the Atonement and the sacrament, and she talked about how the message that I shared with her enlightened her mind a little bit more and that she felt closer to her Savior by knowing him a little better. So that made me feel pretty good. So where I am at right now is pretty nice, well for sure the nicest area that I have been in. A couple of people here have A LOT of money. And I really like it cause all of the streets are square like at home so we can find houses really easily. The heat is pretty rough but nothing that a missionary can't handle. We live in a house with another pair of missionaries and that is fun I like it a lot! I am the only American.

Well I think I am going to have to use a little bit more money cause I have to buy drinks to drink during the day and the electric bill will be a lot more than in Tijuana. We do have A C but we only use it at night to save electricity. The area that we have is really pretty big.

Well hopefully the Bears will do well in region play so they can have a good seed in the playoffs. Good to hear that Krista is doing better, that would be a really tough loss for that family. Wow good work with ol' Russ Rose, good for you guys!
Oh are they doing the activity for the Independence day of Mexico, we are going to have a big party here with the stake the next Friday, should be a fun deal!
Wow the Redds have grown a lot! I think that Nash has changed the most so far, and Mason is tall, well compared to Kolt. I would imagine that Nixon and Ivy will have changed the most by the time I get home. Well if you could start checking around that would be nice so I can have a couple of options when I get back. (on dad asking if he should be looking for a wife for him when he gets home)  No chubby I am not, just kinda normal. I am going to start working out good again so we will see how that goes.
My comp is a good kid he is 20 and from Mexico I can't remember the state but it is down south. we get along really well and we are always having a good time together. We work hard and enjoy ourselves.
This week while studying in the Book of mormon I read in Enos and the fist couple of verses reminded me a lot of you. Thanks for all you do for me and the example that you always were for me. I love you and miss you.

 Elder Zundel
